The acupuncture therapy that is implemented at AcuSenior Care is very conducive to senior care therapy. The patient feels improvement with a just few needles, and after only two or three sessions, making the treatment less invasive and very safe.

At AcuSenior Care, we are passionate, and committed to providing holistic treatments, that will cover a broad spectrum of musculoskeletal, and internal conditions enabling our senior clients to pursue a realistic goal in restoring independence and achieving activities of daily living.

My acupuncture career began in the late 1980s in the midst of the HIV/AIDS epidemic, Coronavirus, and the Opioid epidemic. These episodes have had a very profound and personal effect on members of my family as well as a senior population. Reflecting back, one traumatic episode was when my 12-year-old son had contracted a severe and deteriorating form of Whooping Cough, which could not be resolved with Western medicine therapy. After several months of antibiotic therapy his condition deteriorated. There was loss of appetite, fatigue, weight loss, and constant episodes of coughing. To say the least, my son’s health became very concerning. I began to research other treatment therapies which led me to Traditional Chinese Medicine/Acupuncture. My wife and I contacted a TCM clinic in Manhattan NY, Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. After an extensive health interview, my son was scheduled for a treatment. The first treatment resolved 90% of his issues. His appetite returned immediately. Coughing episodes became less frequent. The second treatment resolved all remaining issues. His sleep was better and he had more energy. The coughing episodes were arrested.

To this day, I believe it was divine intervention that connected and directed my family to Acupuncture. It was also at this time that I realized my calling. I had to learn this medicine. I wanted to be a healer to help others as my son had been helped. I applied and I was accepted to the Acupuncture curriculum at the Pacific College of Oriental medicine. Little did I know that acupuncture, a 5000-year-old empirical based medicine, a modality of TCM would become my way of life. I was to be a prodigy of TCM.

My education began at Pacific College of Oriental medicine from there, I transferred to Tristate College Acupuncture where I obtained a Master’s of Science degree in Acupuncture along with intensive internship training. I am currently a doctoral candidate in Acupuncture at Pacific College of Health and Science. After having completed my national board exams, I am licensed to practice acupuncture in the state of Pennsylvania. My specialization is in senior care, chronic pain, pain management, and other disorders that plague the senior community. I am proficient in several types and modalities of Acupuncture and TCM. Thank you for sharing my timeline with me. To close, if you feel that I can help improve your health and assist with pain management, please contact me for a free consultation.
